BRIDGETT JAMES

About

Bridgett James is a 4th year Speech Pathology student at La Trobe University. Bridgett has been the president of the La Trobe Rural Health Club (LARHC) and was the 2019 La Trobe representative for the National Rural Health Student Network (NRHSN). While Bridgett enjoyed her past roles, her true passion lies in speech pathology and supporting the students around her. 

Bridgett’s passion for speech pathology comes from a desire to understand her own difficulties with literacy. As an individual with dyslexia, Bridgett is able to bring a unique perspective of someone who has overcome her own challenges with language, while providing professional support to individuals in need.
