BRONTE FRASER
About
Bronte is in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the Australian Catholic University and she has been the SPA student representative for ACU since 2019. During her time in this role, Bronte has enjoyed organising and running the annual SLP2B event for other speech pathology students, allowing her to develop professional communication skills, network and be an active and engaged member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Whilst studying, Bronte has volunteered across multiple schools, providing assessment and intervention for children with literacy and language delays. She currently works in a special school and for the NDIS, working with both child and adult populations with a range of speech and language difficulties.
A country kid at heart, Bronte has an interest in ensuring access to speech pathology services regardless of location and hopes to explore rural or remote work in her career. Her upcoming rural Victorian placement will provide her with further insight into this interesting field of work.
