ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR JANE MCCORMACK

About

Jane is the Head of Discipline and National Course Coordinator of the Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Australian Catholic University, and the Assistant Deputy Head of School (Allied Health) (NSW). She has worked as a speech-language pathologist in community health clinics, schools, and early intervention settings and is a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia. Jane teaches subjects relating to developmental speech and language difficulties and enjoys supervising Honours and Higher Degree Research students. Her research has explored the life experiences of children with speech and language difficulties, the application of the ICF (WHO, 2001) in speech pathology, and models of speech pathology education and service delivery. She has over 50 publications addressing these topics.
